Justin Christopher, a Dynasty Freek

I’ve been playing fantasy football since 1995, back when you used to have use the USA Today to check your players’ stats on Monday and Tuesday mornings.  My longest running league is called the Freek League (no idea why we spelled it that way).  It is comprised of my best friends from college (University of Texas) who still get together every Labor Day weekend for our draft.  We started as a Keeper League way before anyone knew what that was and slowly grew into a Dynasty League.  Some of the more enthusiastic owners of us have joined and/or started several other Dynasty Leagues.  We have become Dynasty Freeks! 

I am a Dynasty Freek. I follow the NFL year-round, listening to dozens of podcasts.  I listen so you don’t have to listen.  I watch every play of every NFL game.  I watch so you don’t have to watch.  I scout college players throughout the year.  I scout so that you do not have to scout.  I am currently in 8 Dynasty Leagues (including one Reality Sports Online League, one FFPC league, and one 48-team champions league with 47 other dynasty analysts), 2 Redraft Leagues, and up to 10 Best Ball Leagues (FB10s).

Football is my only hobby other than landscaping.  My wife, Brenda, and I have been happily married for 20 years.  I am the Executive Pastor of Midtown Church in Austin, Texas.  Most of my fantasy teams are named “Dog Drool” because I’ve had two English Mastiffs (the one I have today is named Russell Wilson) and I also own a pet-sitting business.
